19 Members of the Churches in the West Swindon Partnership met at Marlborough Leisure Centre on Saturday 9th May and walked across the Marlborough Downs to West Woods where we meandered our way through the amazing carpet of bluebells to Lockeridge Dene for lunch. After lunch we followed the the Kennett Valley back to Marlborough.
It was a pleasant walk round an amazing display of bluebells of about 7.5 to 8 miles.The route we walked can be viewed using Google Earth, then right click here and select "Save Target As" save the file to your PC then open it with Google Earth. Google Earth may be downloaded from here.
Westlea Church will probably organising another walk for the Partnership in spring 2010...
